Why is the RIAA insisting on upping the prices for the iTunes download service? They say their reasoning is that the artists deserve more, but at $.99 a pop, they take aobut $.70 of that! (Source) Now their asking for more? I think that’s a bit too much, they’re being way too greedy.
The Story
Bush is going to ruin the world with his last 2 and a bit years left. He’s all for making the governement Christian, thinks abortion is wrong, lies to the American public, and the list just goes on. Now he’s trying to be smart by re-wording what he says, to make the public think they still need to be in Iraq. The whole thing is getting boring, his original intent for going to Iraq is gone, it’s probably the Saudi Arabian’s who did most of the terrorist work, and Osama bin Laden isn’t even in Iraq. Bush is all about making money, and doesn’t care about anything else. I’ll just leave it at that.
The Story
The Internet is a necessity in life now, and I don’t think America should be the one who has monopoly over it. It’d definately be weird to have multiple internet networks, all the data wouldn’t be centralized anymore, and the Internet would… well, become useless for many.

Story 2
I’d hate to have a blackout to the Internet, I mean, I spend so much time on it! But it seems like Level 3 and Cogent are having some social issues about peering. I think if it is true that Level 3 is larger then Cogent, but not by much, then Cogent should pay a small fee, but for Level 3 to sever their connection is a bad idea. Maybe there should be another company to do all of the interlinks between the large networks and charge everyone a small fee for it?
The Story
I mostly use Google’s services. I have Yahoo! IM just incase I meet someone who only has Yahoo!, and I had Flickr before it was bought by Yahoo!, but now since it is, that’s just another service I’m using from them. Other then that though, I think Google is better. The search is more familiar, the email is ad free (text ads on the side don’t bug me at all, and I never even notice them). And the new personlized homepage thing, I’m loving it!
The Story (Which might have nothing to do with what I just said… lol)
