Orkut & Newsvine

permalink add this

Wow, I remember over the summer last year I read up on Orkut, and I did some quick searches to get invites, and no success. And up until today, it’s just been lingering at the back of my head, when I got an email from Multiply about their site update.

So, I went to their site, checked it out again, totally forgetting I signed up because my sister invited me. And I was pretty suprised, it had improved a lot. It’s better then it’s competitors (MySpace, and Hi5). And I would actually like to spend more time, except for all the teens in this world seem like like MySpace more (for some reason I do not know why).

I wanted to meet some more people on Multiply so I would give myself a reason to go back again, so I searched the groups, when an Orkut Members group popped up. That totally just clicked in the back of my mind, and I was like “I MUST get an invite to this.”

So I’ve been browsing along, and it seems a lot of people have already invited tons, and the posts are at least half a year old. So…. for those few readers I have, if you have an Orkut account, could you send me an invite? Thanks.

I'm not finished with the design of my blog quite yet, please hold on while I fix the comments, archives, and search templates.

Thanks for the heads up about my .htaccess file!! I was supposed to put something in that file if I wanted to change the settings…but I don’t even know where it is lol. So I just put it back to the default settings and it looks like people can post again. And I can invite you to orkut if you would like. I don’t use it much. I prefer Bebo and hi5. I don’t get what the big deal about MySpace is either, but then again I only have a few friends. I can’t seem to get anyone interested in Multiply and I sent out quite a few invitations. About orkut I will just need your first and last name and email address. ~Dawn Isaac
