There is only sky above us!

Okay, so I don’t know what getting tagged means, and I did read about meme’s a long time ago, so I’m gonna try this out… :P

  1. Black and White or Color; how do you prefer your movies?
    Color, and in Hi-Def man!
  2. What is the 1 single subject that bores you to near-death?
Good question…. I wouldn’t say a single subject would bore me to death, I mean, if the presenter is good, then I’ll be interested (if it’s something that seems really stupid, like pro-wrestling…. well, the presenter better be hella good).
  3. MP3’s, CD’s, Tape’s, or Record’s; what is your favorite medium for prerecorded music?
MP3’s!!! (AAC’s!!!!) lol. I listen to all my music on Apple branded things…. hehehe (well, maybe not the headset, but the computer and the iPod).
  4. You are handed one 1st class trip plane ticket to anywhere in the world and $10 million in cash. All of this is yours, provided that you leave and not tell anyone where you are going… Ever. This includes family, friends, everyone. Would you take the money and ticket and run?
You know, if I ever get a point in life where I might need that, then I’ll think about it. But right now, I’m happy with my life.
  5. Seriously, what do you consider the world’s most pressing issue now?
Dual citizenships, and the fact that you have to choose one over the other when you become of legal age.
  6. How would you rectify the world’s most pressing issue?
I have no idea what rectify means, but I’m guessing it’s solve… So based on that assumption, I would say citizens who are born with dual citizenships, should be able to keep them. It’s their right.
  7. You are given the chance to go back and change 1 thing in your life; what would that be?
Nothing. I like what has happened so far, even if some of the things have been so bad I thought life would never get better. All of those bad things, are just experiences you go through, and if you let it, it can be a learning experience.
  8. You are given the chance to go back and change one event in world history, what would that be?
Again, nothing. It’s because of all those things that we are where we are now, with the understanding of the world we have now. (Environmentally, I would like to have inventions to save us earlier on, but if it did, then we wouldn’t be as worried about it as we are now)
  9. A night at the opera, or a night at the Grand Ole’ Opry - Which do you choose?
    I don’t know what a “Grand Ole’ Opry” is… so I guess I can’t answer this one.
  10. What is the 1 great unsovled crime of all time you’d like to solve?
I have no idea, I try not to think of all the crimes in the world… kinda gets you down, knowing that humans can stoop that low.
  11. One famous author can come to dinner with you. Who would that be, and what would you serve for the meal?
Well, there are the authors of the books I love… but that would be kinda boring. So I guess I’d like to eat dinner with a famous sex-book author. ;) Serve for the meal… one of those expensive italian dinners. (I like Japense food better though)
  12. You discover that John Lennon was right that there is no hell below us, and above us there is only sky - what’s the 1st immoral thing you might do to celebrate this fact?
John Lennon? Who? (no, seriously, i don’t know him). Uh… well, i dunno?

Whew, long…. Some of them I just have NO IDEA what they are…. lol :P Got this meme from Dawn Isaac.

Tokyo Gakugei University Oizumi High School

Guess what? No, really, guess what?

I GOT ACCEPTED TO THE SCHOOL! YAY!

Starting March I’ll be living in Japan (well, sometime during March). I’m pretty excited, but also sad that I’ll be missing all of my friends here, and some *special* people.

Here’s a link to the high school’s website: English, Japanese.

Hehe, I have to go back to Japan on Feb. 15-19 for some more school stuff. Fun, but that means I’ve been on an AIRPLANE for over 2 days! Like, just been IN one. Woah, that’s a bit too much lol.

Is Digg’n it still ‘in’?

Lol, my attempt at a cool title :P
I’ve been reading a lot of bad stuff about digg recently, and it hasn’t really come to my attention *that* much. I mean, I barely use it, I use Newsvine more now (it’s wayyyy cooler), so it really didn’t bother me that much. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I was one of the first couple thousand users, ever since their 1st podcast, so I did keep up with their stuff for a while. But digg is, I dunno, I just like newsvine better :P.

Anyways, here’s a great article explaining how to refer users who just came from the digg site back to the digg site, so you don’t get all this:

It seems that Digg is the domain of angry teenagers with gobs of time on their hands, basking in the glow of utter anonymity, all entered in some sort of contest to see who can use the word “F__” most often and in the most creative manner. – Andy Rutledge

Japan

Saturday, February 4th, 2006

Well, I’m in Japan now… And I’ve been studying, err…. yeah ;)
I actually have been, for real. And I’m actually not that worried, the only parts I am worried about is the interview, and math.

My Japanese listening skills have always been great, my dad talks to me in Japanese, and I respond in English. So I have no problem understanding it, even if they’re talking really fast in different dialects. I do however, have a slight problem with speaking. My speach mixes up polite form and casual form, and some of my grammer isn’t too good. So I’ll be practicing ’speaking’ with my grandmother until the test.

As for math, I understand what to do for the problems, no where as hard as I anticipated they would be… whew. However, using calculators is against the rules….. eek, they like spoil us in America, we can use calculators whenever we want, during any type of test. I used to be awsome in math, actually that used to be my best subject. But with calculators around every corner, doing calculations without one is now pretty slow. I mean, I can do it, and I’m okay at it, but it’s not the fastest way to finish the problems, and I do have a 50 minute time limit… then there’s the 50 minute essay :P
Well, um… I guess that’s all for now…

Thanks Aki for the…. what is it called, I totally blanked on the word… Ah, I think I’m trying to say thanks for the word of support :D
