Damn, I just fell for one! Well, it wasn’t a serious one or anything. But the website userviewprofile.com is a DreamHost customer and he has it setup so a flash file is embedded into a user’s profile page (specifically: userviewprofile.com/login8.swf ) which redirects the user to the website.
The website mimicks MySpace’s login page, but all the data entered is then passed on to the userviewprofile.com/log.php page, and then they are redirected back to the official MySpace login page with the error “incorrrect username/password”.
Ah, what a pain! The password I used for myspace was my easy one that I use for all the stuff I don’t care (a lot) about, but now I have to go around changing them all!
Added: So, my fix was simple, I did a search on Google for “Ender at Eros”, and “Takumi Shimada”, and since they were already “personalized”, it was really easy to go all to the ones I needed to change and make the changes!
