Vanilla + WordPress

permalink add this

Lussumo, the creator of the sleek forum software, Vanilla, recently released a way to integrate it with your WordPress setup.

I haven’t really talked about Vanilla much in the past, so I’ll do a little explaining for you here.

Vanilla is a very fast, light, and extensible forum software. It has virtually all the languages you need, making it multi-lingual friendly, an easy way to create your own add-ons, themes, and styles.

What else is so good about it? It’s just another forum.

Is it? Unlike other forums, unless you are viewing a specific category, the main page shows posts from ALL the categories. Making it more community friendly. (You find out about other posts easier and quicker than other forums)

And… I don’t really need to tell you about WordPress. :P
I plan on integrating Vanilla with the MacProbe, the Mac software review site which my friend and I are working on. It doesn’t really have as many reviews on there as we had planned (we have a whole bunch of reviews just lying around on our Desktops, waiting to be posted though :P ), and I guess we both just really haven’t had the time to work on it that much.

I'm not finished with the design of my blog quite yet, please hold on while I fix the comments, archives, and search templates.

One person was kind enough to leave me a response to “Vanilla + WordPress”
