I could get a lot done with a desktop like this, it’d definitely help me organize all those random files I have floating around

I agree, my desktop is usually filled with random files, while all my work stuff is neat in folders….

Something tells me I’d spend a day just sorting out my Desktop rather than working if this became mainstream.
btw, my Desktop icons are turned off by default so that I don’t get distracted by their arrangement!
